Fact: Guinea pigs do not produce vitamin c and need to eat some daily.
Fact: Birds see more of the light spectrum than we do and require exposure to natural light to synthesize necessary vitamins.
Fact: Cats are obligate carnivores and cannot metabolize plant derived proteins as effectively as animal based proteins. Their diet should include very little plant food such as rice, peas, potatoes, and lots of animal protein.

Fact: Flys will lay eggs on rabbits, particularly if they are damp with urine or feces. The maggots hatch and begin burrowing into the rabbits flesh and kill a rabbit within 24 hours of the eggs being laid. Keep your pet rabbits inside, clean, and healthy to reduce the risk of fly strike.
Fact: Dogs can smell human fingerprints that are a week old. And they don't care for perfumey scents. They might ask you to skip the scented shampoo if they could. (They might actually request 'decaying filth' scented shampoo.)
Fact: Like humans, dogs can develop glaucoma, a very painful eye condition. Pressure from being walked on a neck collar can cause or aggravate ocular pressure and glaucoma. Harnesses do not harm the eyes.
